Moritz Jokeit

Moritz Jokeit is a Ph.D. candidate at the Institute for Biomechanics of the ETH Zurich. He studied Civil Engineering and Computational Mechanics at the Technical University of Munich (TUM) and the Polytechnic University of Catalunya (UPC). After the completion of his master’s degree in 2020, he co-authored a book about deep learning in computational mechanics. In early 2021 Moritz joined the spine biomechanics group where he pursues his research towards the development of patient-specific biomechanical models and machine-learning-based approaches in medical imaging.
