Dr. med. Lara Zankena

Dr. med. Lara Zankena developed a strong early interest in the interface between medicine, movement, and biomechanics. While pursuing her degree in Nutritional Sciences at the University of Vienna, she simultaneously studied Medicine at the Medical University of Vienna, where she cultivated her passion for orthopedic trauma and musculoskeletal medicine.

Following her surgical specialty training, she joined University Hospital Balgrist as a member of the Spine Biomechanics Team, integrating clinical expertise with experimental research in spinal biomechanics.
