Peter Schwarzenberg

Peter Schwarzenberg studied Mechanical Engineering at Lehigh University, where he received his PhD. Before joining the Spine Biomechanics Group, he worked as a Project Leader at the AO Research Institute Davos, focusing on computational simulations in orthopaedic research. Peter joined the Spine Biomechanics Group in September 2026. His research focuses on combining medical imaging, computational modeling, and data-driven methods to better understand spinal biomechanics and surgical outcomes.
