Raluca Barna

Raluca-Ana-Maria Barna is a PhD student at "Center for X-ray Analytics" at Empa. In collaboration with the Spine Biomechanics group at Balgrist University Hospital, her main focus concerns the morphological investigation of spine ligaments using MicroCT and biomechanical tests. She received her Master's degree in Biomedical Engineering and Medical Physics at the Technical University of Munich. Her interdisciplinary research interests include the 3D histological imaging of soft tissue employing contrast agents for preclinical research.
